How to create this stock rule:
Using this example we want the system to add bracing scissors and wires every 4x bays.
-
Steps to creating a "Add items every [x] bay " stock rule
- Go to the stock rules section and click create new.
- Give the rule a name
Give the new stock rule a name and an easy-to-read description. -
Set the Conditions
Select the tent and the stock items which will trigger this rule. In the example below, the rule will only trigger when these conditions are met. A quote must include the 9m Frame Tent. We leave the second section blank because no other conditions are needed.
-
Set the Action
The action is what happens when the conditions have been met. For example when a quote includes the 9m frame tent and the 9m clear ceiling panels, then remove a 9m PVC roof from the load list. - Below we have selected:
- Update the load list: Add items every [x] bays
- Select the tent to add a stock item from: 9m Frame Tent
- Select the stock item to be added: Bracing vertical
- Select the QTY that should be added: 2
- For every [x] bays: 4
-
How do I know if the stock rule is working?
The load list will automatically adjust the components.
