How to create a Geofence

What is Geofencing?

A geofence for clocking in and out is a virtual boundary around a physical location that ensures employees clock in and out in the correct place.

Steps to turning Geofence on.

1. While in the timesheets module go to settings in the left menu. 

2. Click geofence settings.

3. Click 'Add New Location'

4. Create a name/description of your location.

5. Find the latitude & longitude of your location by clicking 'get current location'. If this doesn't work find the coordinates on Google Maps.

6. Add a radius. A larger radius will allow your staff to clock in/out further away from your location.

7. Click the active button & press save.
