⚡ Quick Answer
Solution: Reorder form fields either by dragging them in the Edit Forms page, or use the Change Layout tool to adjust row and card structure.
Time needed: ~3 minutes
Prerequisites: Access to the Form Editor
Main Process
Phase 1: Change Field Order (Simple Drag-and-Drop)
Open the Edit Forms page.
Locate the field list — it displays all questions from top to bottom.
Click and hold the drag dots next to any field.
Drag the field up or down to its new position.
-
Release — you'll see a green alert confirming the update.
Note: You do not need to click save after each change.
Phase 2: Change Layout (Rows & Cards)
Use this to create multiple columns (e.g., 2-, 3-, or 4-column layouts)
Scroll to the bottom of the edit page.
Click Save & Preview.
In the top-right corner, click Change Layout.
Tip: open in a new tab so you can quickly check changes.-
In the layout view:
Each row can contain multiple cards (sections)
Choose 1, 2, 3, or 4 cards per row
Drag fields into the card layout positions to reorder visually.
-
Refresh your form preview tab to see changes live.
No need to save — updates apply automatically.
Phase 3: Adjust Section Order (Manual Move)
Use the Up/Down arrows on rows and section headers.
Move one row at a time — changing one section does not move others automatically.
Refresh preview to confirm placement.
Alternative Method
Drag-and-drop in the main Edit screen is fastest for simple order changes.
Use Change Layout when:
You want multi-column form design
You are building sections or grouped fields
You need mobile-friendly stacked layouts
