This article explains how the crew view works for staff clocking in and out. Staff access the crew view on any device, enter their PIN, and optionally take a selfie. No login is required.
Steps
For Managers: Setting Up the Crew View
- Send the crew view link to your team — staff access this page every day to clock in and out. They do not need to log in to the system.
- Turn selfie capture on or off — go to your settings to enable or disable the selfie photo requirement at clock-in. Turn it off if your team prefers not to take a photo.
- The crew view works on any device — phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop
For Staff: Clocking In
- Open the crew view — on any device using the link provided
- Enter your PIN — no login required
- Take a selfie if prompted — this can be turned off by your manager if not required
- If running late — tap the running late option and add a message such as "Sorry, stuck in traffic". Your manager will see this note.
For Managers: Reviewing Clock-In Data
- Go to the homepage — after staff have clocked in, you can see a map showing where each person clocked in relative to the office or site
- Go to the Clock-In Report — in the left menu, for a detailed view of all clock-in records
- Click View on Map — to open Google Maps with the exact pin drop and latitude and longitude coordinates for any individual clock-in
⚡ Quick Answer
Staff: Open crew view link → enter PIN → optional selfie → clocked in Managers: Homepage shows clock-in map → Clock-In Report → View on Map for exact location
❌ If It's Not Working
- Problem: Staff cannot find the crew view → Fix: Send them the crew view link directly — they do not need a system login to access it
- Problem: Staff member forgot their PIN → Fix: Update their PIN in staff settings and send them the new one
- Problem: Selfie is not being captured → Fix: Check that selfie capture is turned on in your settings. If it is turned off, no photo will be taken at clock-in.
