Using a sample quote for new inquiries can save you a significant amount of time compared to creating a custom quote from scratch.

2. Add images to your rental items.

This can be a big job, so don't worry about finding images for every single rental item at once. We recommend focusing on your best-selling items, and then you can chip away at this task as and when you need to.

Images will appear directly on the customer's quote, allowing them to view the items by clicking on the images rather than having to contact you separately for pictures.

3. Add our enquiry form to your website.

You can easily add our enquiry form to your website, which syncs seamlessly with Marquee Tech. This integration ensures that every new customer enquiry is emailed to you and automatically added to the new enquiry report in Marquee Tech, so no new leads are ever missed.

4. Start creating quotes & invoices.

We recommend that you add yourself as a customer first. Create dummy quotes and then go through the entire customer journey. (enquiry > quote > adjustments > confirm booking > terms signed > invoice sent > check reports > check picking lists etc).

5. Move future bookings onto the system.

By this stage, you should have created several dummy quotes and become proficient in the quote-building process.

Now it is time to add your future quotes and bookings into Marquee Tech. This is done by recreating the quote/booking in Marquee Tech. (we offer a paid service for this. Speak to our team for more info).

Recreating quotes and bookings in the system serves as an excellent training exercise and ensures that your reports and calendars remain accurate and up to date.

There's no need to worry about the system sending emails to customers without your knowledge.

The only automated emails sent are for due invoices, which are sent on the invoice's due date. If you'd prefer to disable this feature, please let us know.

Steps...

1. Open your existing quote/invoice pdf in another tab.

2. Manually add the customer into Marquee Tech / or search for them (if they have been uploaded.)

3, Once the customer has an account in MT, click 'Start new quote' and start rebuilding their quote/booking. Keep your existing pdf open to ensure you are accurately replicating the order/booking.

4. Click 'Confirm the booking.'

5. Use our invoicing system to create paid invoices and due invoices.
